Death of a hero chapter 3

     "Hmm hmm.." Hope hummed while doing laundry. He's just now folded all of Lightning's clothes and was going to take them to her room. He walked down the hallway and turned to the right. Hope walked in and sat her clothes gently on her bed. Something grabbed his ankle and he jumped. "Ahhh! What the-" Hope looked down and saw Fang laying there just chilling on the floor. "Ohh umm..hi Fang. Sorry I didn't see you there hehe." Hope scratched the back of his head embarrassed.

     "Oh it's fine," Fang tilted her head smiling. "I never knew a guy did laundry in this house haha!" She sat up. "Yeah I mean, my mother taught me to clean up after myself and always be nice to people." Hope smiled. Hope was from Palumpolum. He was visiting this place with his mother until the army sealed off the exit to go home. His mother, Nora, was worried and wanted to get them back home safe and sound, so when they got purged she got up and fought. She went with Snow and his team called NORA to fight for freedom. She soon died after the explosion. She told Snow to get Hope home, but Snow didn't know what she was talking about at that time. For a while Hope hated Snow for his mother's death. He needed to blame someone, so he could keep fighting for something. Vanille stayed right by his side until she turned into crystal again. Hope said to Serah and Noel that he missed Vanille's smile. Serah knew that he cared for Vanille, but was afraid to tell her that he loved her. He was just too shy and you know how he is. After all that he forgave Snow and now he's best friends with him.

     "hey um..Fang?" Hope looked at Fang. "what?.." Fang said getting back up to her feet. "why was you laying on Lightning's floor?" He questioned. "Well, I was trying to get miss Farron up from bed. Breakfast was about done and well...she also looked like she had a bad dream, so i woke her up." Fang stretched and Hope looked at her bleeding. "Fang!" Hope took off his bandanna around his neck. "Your lip is bleeding. Did Lightning punch you in the face again?" Hope just starred at her handing her his bandanna. "hmm?..Nahh! I probably did that myself when I fell and hit the floor." Fang said laughing.

     Back down in the kitchen Serah yelled up the stairs. "Hey Fang! Hope! It's time for breakfast." Serah put the food on the table. "Ooo bacon!" Snow reached for the bacon until Serah smacked his hand away. "You're not getting bacon until everyone is down here and got a piece!" Snow pouted like a sad puppy and Vanille just laughed. "Hey guys!" Fang walked down the stairs grabbing her a plate. "Mmmm all of this looks good Farron. Did you make this yourself?" Fang drooled at the delicious food. "Why yes I did! I hope you'll like it." Fang got one of everything and began to eat. Hope walked down the stairs and he too grabbed a plate and started digging in. "Thank you Serah for making breakfast!" Hope said smiling at Serah. "Haha you're welcome Hope!" Serah looks over at Snow still pouting and she sighed. "Ohh here you go!" She picked up a piece of bacon and held it infront of Snow's face. "Oh yeah!" Snow chomped down and ate it. Sazh shook his head chuckling, "I told you Serah he's eatting out of your hand haha." They all laughed.

   Fang got up to get some coffee. "Hey Fang?" Serah said. "Yeah Farron." Fang poured herself a cup of coffee. "I want to thank you for waking up Lightning for me. If I went up there she would yell at me." Serah smiled. "Yeah, yeah no problem." She sipped her coffee. Sazh spoke up, "What did you do to piss off the soldier girl outside, hmm?" Fang looked up and just laughed. "I guess Light got jealous of my Grand Pulse looks in the morning haha!" Everyone laughed and Fang looked out the window to see Lightning.
